Promotions

This policy outlines British Life RP's promotion policy, setting clear expectations for those who hold ranks eligible for promotion.

As a server, we would like our members to move up the ranks and be rewarded for their hard work and dedication; however, with many servers out there, it's deemed too easy for people to receive promotions and advance, which is why we introduced this policy. This also ensures fairness between all members, regardless of who you are. This means that new players cannot join and instantly be promoted faster than someone who has been here for months.

If you hold any rank within the community which is eligible for promotions, you must be active in that position for at least 30 days before you are deemed eligible for a promotion. Obviously, you aren't automatically promoted once those 30 days are up. This is a minimum timeframe before you are eligible for promotion for your activity within your role.

All job promotions are decided by their respective command teams. Senior members of staff decide upon staff promotions. In all promotions, if there's a change in responsibilities, it's ultimately the person's choice to accept the promotion. If they are offered a promotion and decline it, they will remain in their current rank.

Everything is in the best interest of British Life RP. If we have availability in a role with a significant impact on a department or the community, management may make exceptions to this policy to fill the position.​​​​​​​​​
