This policy outlines British Life RP's resignation policy, setting clear expectations for those considering resigning from their position. This document only applies to members who have applied for roles, such as in-game jobs or server staff positions.
Types of Resignations:
-
Forced Resignations - Usually mean you have been banned or removed for the best interests of the community.
-
Planned Resignations - Leaving the community.
-
Planned Resignations - Remaining in the community.
If you resign from your position or have been forced to resign, you must understand the following:
-
The responsibilities of your roles are forfeited.
-
Your access to channels linked to your role is revoked.
-
Any in-game wages will be adjusted accordingly. E.g., if you are a sergeant and you resign, your wage will be adjusted to your new role.
-
Any mandatory training must be completed again if you apply for the role again or are restored.
-
Any department assigned callsigns are forfeited.
Depending on whether it's just the role you're resigning from, you may be offered the chance to move down a role/rank if there is availability. This means that if you are a department lead and you feel that you aren't cut out for that role, you may be offered the role below. The same applies across the board with staff; however, in all cases, this is subject to availability.
Important Notices:
The only way that you can be forced to resign is if there have been multiple reports with evidence that you have broken the rules, a safeguarding concern for the community, or you are abusing your privileges in the role. Another way is that if you have been banned from the community for any period of time, your roles will be removed.
If you leave the community without prior notice or are forced to do so, the restoration policy will not apply.
